Friday we celebrated “Eat Something Blue” Day. If you Google “Eat Something Blue” Day you are likely to find two results — this post and my blog bio that mentions “Eat Something Blue” Day as my favorite Firehouse moment. The reason for only two Google results for this holiday is simple, we made it up, and by “we” I mean this guy, Zack Ward (pictured with blue tongue).

The celebration of “Eat Something Blue” Day is very simple, everyone eats something blue enough to turn their tongue a nice shade of Cobalt. This was the second annual “Eat Something Blue” Day at Firehouse and we choose to eat cupcakes with blue icing and drink Ocean Water Slushes from Sonic. It was a quality bonding time at the office and a great Friday activity.
