Firehouse is an idea-driven ad agency and The Furnace is where we let out a lot of the stuff that lives in our heads. So read, play, comment and even challenge us and hopefully we will all get a little smarter.

For someone who so effectively wields the snark, you were surprisingly sparing with the D's and F's. The work at the bottom of your scorecard certainly earned their places. Jim Nantz for FloTV, really...push it down.

There is some middlin' stuff I might promote too. I'd give the Dodge Charger spot better than a C. Yeah, I know the Charger is not the car you'd hope for in payoff position; but, hey, there are plenty of Ed Hardy fans (who I try to avoid even in crowded theaters). In our house, Google earned straight A's. Now, my wife and kids were voting, and I'm not the average Superbowl-watching dude.

And, strangely Dockers and FLO TV weren't the only victims of pod duplication. Betty White got tackled in the same pod as Tebow's Mom. Little people made appearances in back-to-back spots for Dr Pepper Cherry and truTV. Some strange rotational coincidences indeed. And both Intel and Bud Light must agree that's what geeks look like - the casting in "Asteroids" and "Sad Robot" felt eerily similar.

All said, your critique makes me look forward to next year. Thanks.
