This past Champagne Thursday was full of toasts, entertainment and celebrations. We came together as an agency to celebrate a successful showing at the DFW Interactive Marketing Association’s annual EIMA awards, client project wins and a few new additions to the team.
Corks were handed out this month to Elizabeth, for her leadership on new Nothing Bundt Cakes initiatives, and Ashley Carter, for leading successful social media campaigns for her clients. Greg Hunter also earned a bottle cap for his latest blog post, Fresh & Tasty, highlighting our new creative work for the Dallas Farmers Market Friends.
We had plenty of entertainment as well. Our new Account Executive, Mark Shonka, serenaded us with Poision’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” and our new Assistant Digital Strategist, Austin Denny, not only sang, but accompanied himself on the guitar, to The Beatles’ “A Little Help From My Friends.” Last up: our new summer interns (Lauren, Loryn, Elisha and Natalia) put together a Firehouse rendition of Weezer’s “Beverly Hills.” Click here to watch their full performance.
We wrapped up Champagne Thursday with a special visit from Todd Storch of Taylor’s Gift. Todd provided many positive updates on the foundation and their upcoming initiatives, some of which will benefit from the $2,000 check we presented him as a result of our annual April Foos tournament.
