So, we did it!
For the fourth year in a row, Firehouse hosted the legendary April Foos Tournament benefitting Taylor’s Gift Foundation. This year was a huge success, raising over $2700 to not only increase organ donation registries but also educate audiences about organ donation and the gift each of us has within. Todd Storch, President and Founder of Taylor’s Gift Foundation, kicked off the event and the games began!
We owe a special thanks to Tom and Tommy at Milo Butterfingers, who agreed to host the tournament at their bar. Equipped with three foosball tables, food and a fully stocked bar, the location couldn’t have been better.
There was sweat. And, no, the sweat wasn’t only due to Greg Hunter’s chipmunk costume but due to determination. For those of you who are not aware, Firehouse takes foosball pretty seriously. Some might say it’s a way of life. Although, this is the first year that we did not take home the first place trophy. Charlie Uniform Tango stepped up their game and were crowned the tournament winners. Premier Sales Group came in second and Firehouse landed third. Thanks to our friends at Taco Cabana, a handful of lucky players left with coupons for a tasty Mexican meal. They deserved it after being out in the battlefield. All in all, the event was a success, and we’re forever grateful for all of the support. Check out the photos here. See you next year!
