The Firehouse strategy department is on the hunt for a brand strategist with 4-7 years of experience. This position will help us further our commitment to challenging the way business problems are solved through the power of creativity.
We at Firehouse believe the marriage of deeply strategic thinking and highly creative execution is the key to unlocking human truths and giving brands meaning in the eyes of their audience. That means as strategist we are equal parts anthropologist, sociologist, researchers, reporters and trend spotters. We’re not just brief writers, we’re thinkers, dreamers and problem solvers. Simply put, it is our job to understand people and culture in efforts to solve the complex business problems of our partners.
The Firehouse strategist is a master of all trades and a jack of none (or at least very few). We tow the line between consumer insights and content, social and design strategy. At the core of it we are focused on identifying and communicating simplified strategies. No one day is the same, which we think makes for a pretty exciting work environment.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. It might sound cliche, but the difference is we actually mean it. Our strategists interact with all teams (Account, Social, Media and Creative) on a regular basis to find the best answer to the problem.
The ideal candidate for this position would have experience in an advertising, design or communications agency, and be proficient with presentation skills (Keynote and PowerPoint), research/insights (focus groups, data analysis, etc.), and writing (briefs, etc.).
